Mola is a fabric full of color, 100% handmade by the Kuna Indians through a technique of overlapping embroidered fabrics.
Each mola is unique, the design and mix of colors is never repeated, that makes this product exclusive. No one will ever

The other main material of shoes, ballet flats and wedge shoes is the Yute.
Yute is a fiber that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. Yute fibers are composed primarily of the plant materials cellulose,
lignin, and pectin. The fibers are off-white to brown and 3 to 15 feet (0.9 to 4.5 meters) long.

What is Mola ?
The word Mola refers to a style of traditional textile art, handmade for thousands of years by the Guna ethnic
group located in Panama and Colombia. The Gunas are indigenous Amerindian peoples whose indigenous language is
part of the Chibcha family and are distinguished by being cultivators, explorers of mountains and rivers,
and lovers of dance and music.
Molas are textiles that gunas women sew by hand in different panels with exclusive and complex designs,
using multiple layers with a reverse appliqué technique. This art is characterized by its lively and natural colors,
geometric designs and its ideas of drawing abstract figures of flowers, animals and the sea.
The Molas are made entirely by hand, using 2 to 7 layers of different colors that are finally sewn together,
which can take up to 6 months to make. The exclusivity of the Mola makes it used in a variety of products such as clothing,
shoes, sandals, sneakers, bags, wallets, clothing accessories, among others.
